Free postal entry
No purchase necessary. Draft instructions pending launch review.
How it works
Paid launch is pending. The current postal allocation needs further work before instant-win competitions open. In particular, extra numbers issued after an online sell-out cannot match the current instant-prize numbers. These draft instructions are not confirmation that the launch entry model has been approved.
First, create your free account. You don't need to pay or give card details. We use the email on your postcard or letter to link your entry to your account.
What to send
Write the following on a postcard, or on a letter in a stamped envelope:
- Your full name
- Your full postal address
- Your date of birth (you must be 18 or over)
- The email address of your Waypoint Wins account
- The name of the competition you're entering
Where to post
Suite 60 WAYPOINT WINS LIMITED1 Ensbury Park Road, Bournemouth BH9 2SQ
United Kingdom
Send it by ordinary first- or second-class post. You don't need special delivery or any paid postal extra.
The deadline
Your entry must reach us by 12:00 noon (UK time) on the last working day before the competition closes. Each competition page shows the exact postal deadline. Allow at least 3 working days for second-class post.
What happens next
- We log valid entries in the order they arrive. We normally log them on the working day they reach us, and always before the competition closes.
- The current system allocates an available number within the online range, or an extra main-draw number if that range is full.
- If that number is an instant-win number, you've won that prize.
- Your ticket number appears in My Tickets in your account, and any instant win in My Wins.
If the competition sells out online
Your postal entry still counts if it reaches us by the deadline. We add an extra ticket number for it in the main draw.
The rules in brief
- One entry per postcard or letter. If an envelope contains more than one entry, only the first counts.
- The maximum number of entries per person counts paid and postal entries together.
- Entries that are late, illegible or incomplete, sent in bulk, sent by a third party on someone else's behalf, or received with unpaid postage are invalid. If we can match an invalid entry to your account, we'll let you know why.
- UK residents aged 18 or over only.
- Proof of posting isn't proof we received your entry. We don't return entries.
The full rules are in our Terms & Conditions.
